Minimal Collapse usage notes

Minimal Collapse is an accordion interaction for revealing supporting information while keeping a page compact. The animated height change maintains context between the question or label and its expanded content.

Best for

Frequently asked questions, settings, filters, documentation, specification lists, and progressive disclosure.

How to adapt it

Write concise labels, decide whether multiple panels may remain open, and test expansion with short and long content. Keep essential actions outside collapsed regions when possible.

Accessibility: Use buttons with expanded-state attributes, connect each control to its panel, preserve keyboard focus, and reduce animated height changes when reduced motion is enabled.
